Dana Resnick has been directing for over 20 years in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Charleston, Milwaukee and Pittsburgh. She is also a clinical associate professor of directing in the Theatre Arts Department at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Dana is the recipient of the Stephen Bochco Award in Directing and the John Jutkowitz Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Performing Arts. She developed and directed the world premiere of Sisters in Law at Phoenix Theatre. Her production of Bad Jews at the Odyssey Theatre was an LA Times Critics’ Pick and nominated for five Stage Raw Awards including Best Director of a Comedy. Favorite past productions include: Bad Jews, Shining City, and The Island (named Best in Theatre at Piccolo Spoleto 2009).

Dana holds an M.F.A. in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in Theatre from Washington University in St. Louis. Dana lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
